Jones' Work
Eunique Jones wanted to acknowledge the children of the past. The 'history makers' of the past were once kids who didn't think it was possible for them to dream. Mollison (from my last post) wanted to show the lives of kids today and what they go through. In a way, both photographer's pictures coincide together, meaning the theme between them. Mollison showcased living situation of children all over the world. Jones includes that kids are the future generation to come. One day, they will be the leaders and do something great. No matter what background you come from, that doesn't stop you from accomplishing the dreams you have set your heart out to do. Harriet Tubman was a slave since birth, but she managed to lead thousands of slaves to freedom.These artists show that kids are the past, present and future. Age does not defy the rights they deserve.
